Sign Language Translator- Genius!

If you are like me, you’re a real people.  You make friends easily, and like to make sure everyone feels included.  When I am conducting business with a deaf person, I do my best to communicate with them.  As the only American Sign Language I know is the alphabet and how to say ‘hello,’ ‘good-bye,’ and ‘thank-you,’ I find myself struggling to write things down to talk to a deaf person.  This eliminates almost all eye contact and puts a real wall between us.

I am so excited about this product I found.  It is an American Sign Language translator!  It has a video screen and a person signing the things that you want to say.  It works much like a foreign language translator.  It comes with 3500 signs, letters and numbers.  Just type in a phrase and the video screen signs it.

This product is perfect for so many uses.  It can be a teaching tool for anyone who is studying the language, for those who work in the public sector or need to communicate with anyone who is deaf- it will bring people closer together.
